Keyword Search, Print PDF, and Private Document Sharing Features Added to Vuzit DocuPub Platform v3.0

Vuzit is excited to announce the version 3.0 release of its flagship Vuzit DocuPub Platform software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering for online document viewing and control. In addition to enhancing the Vuzit Dashboard to make uploading, embedding and sharing documents easier than ever before, we have also added the following features:

  • Keyword Search– Click on the new binocular icon and enter your search term. Results are highlighted on all text-based documents.

  • Print PDF– Reading a document you want to download, but don’t have the native application installed? No worries, just click the “Print PDF” button and the document is automatically converted to a PDF file for saving and printing.

  • Private Document Sharing– Select “Create Secure Link” to generate a web link you can use to share documents privately via email.

  • Document ID– Each document is given a unique Vuzit Document ID. Use this Document ID to share documents privately in a web application.
  • Document Statistics– Track document upload dates, file sizes and number of views for each document in the Dashboard.
  • Increased Document Control– Documents are kept private in the Vuzit Dashboard until you are ready to share them.
  • Vuzit.Net Library for Microsoft.NET– Upload and manage documents directly from any .NET application. Language support includes C#, VB.NET, JScript.NET, LUA, Pascal and Python.

These features are 100% AJAX, supported by all operating systems and browsers, even smartphones like the iPhone and Blackberry.

The Vuzit DocuPub Platform version 3.0 is automatically available to all current Vuzit DocuPub Platform SaaS subscribers. New subscribers may access the software by signing up for an account on the Vuzit website at http://vuzit.com/signup. We offer free Basic account to individuals as well as three levels of paid subscriptions for businesses and organizations, which offer additional storage, features and support. Each subscription level includes a risk-free 30 day trial.
